Personally I did not like the Eagle Dance because I lost interest very easily. I watched the video a number of times and just wasn’t clicking for me. The beat wasn’t joy to my ears but the one thing I did like was that the dancers were able to time the dance with the drums. The vocal quality sounded very minimal. The video was recorded with no close microphone to the singers. The sounds and words they used were very foreign to me. Seeing the dancers does help some but the understanding of the dance and lyrics are still a mystery.
Listening to this music might be even more confusing if the video was not there. Not being able to see anything is hard for anyone to learn anything. Most people are visual learners.
I did enjoy watching this video. From beginning to end, he kept a smooth beat to please the audience. The vocals are different because of the more connected notes rather than in the Eagle Dance. This music makes me feel more in the present time. The music is like a beat-box. Using the audience to keep a beat also made the music a better sounding harmony.
