Billie Eilish sings the song everything I wanted. A very serious song she wrote about a dream she had. she sings “thought i could fly (fly)” echoing as if she was flying in the air. This shows the new technology used in today’s music can manipulate various parts of songs. Another way technology changes the sound of her voice to show text painting is when she sings “i tried to scream but my head was underwater”. The last note of that verse is rippled into pieces as if her head was going underwater. I think this piece of music is very well crafted and sung. She can sing at many levels to tell a very good story.
